A few top🇮🇹 tips from me:
1. Taking an extra teenager means considerably fewer arguments amongst your own.
2. Hire a good car, ideally automatic with good acceleration and brakes. (Lesson learnt from last year)
3. Embrace the Italian drivers, allow them to overtake on blind curves. Respect their lack of indication and remember the speed limits are merely ‘a suggestion’.
4. Eat the pasta
5. Eat the pizza
6. Drink the wine
7. Vow to go back asap.
