Love it or hate it, it’s that time of year again. That time when we take a leaf out of our Americans friends book and sink knee deep into Black Friday.
Personally I’m not sure how I feel about Black Friday. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good discount, I rarely buy anything full price. But there is a pleasure in finding your own offers. Seeking out those special codes and buying the things you like when you ACTUALLY feel like buying them.
Black Friday puts me in a bit of a panic. I feel forced into buying things this weekend just to get the deals. I might not be ready to start my Christmas shopping and I might not really need that coat just because it’s 30% off for one day only, but I’m being bombarded with emails telling me to ‘buy now!’.
That said, I have actually been sensible this year and bookmarked some presents for others that I hope to get at a discount during this time.
