UNIQLO Winter Warmers

Now, first up, I’m writing this the day the Anya Hindmarch collection drops, so I hope you managed to get something. I was online before 7am and managed to bag two of the cashmere beanie hats, so I’m very happy about that as Uniqlo cashmere beanies are about the only hat I feel like (semi) suits me. Even though this post is sponsored by Uniqlo, I don’t get any preferential treatment when it comes to buying the collabs. It’s still fastest finger first.

BUT, Anya Hindmarch notwithstanding, there’s a lot to love about Uniqlo in the winter. A huge slap on the back must go to their HEATTECH range which has been keeping me warm at football matches since about 2012. I layer up like an onion: base layer always consists of the leggings and the long-sleeved HEATTECH top. I follow that with a fine knit merino wool jumper. After that, a bit of cashmere, and then I top it off with a PUFFERTECH gilet and jacket. It’s all about the LAYERS. Believe me, it does work and because the layers are all quite thin I don’t end up feeling like the Michelin Man.

Here are more of my picks from Uniqlo, some of which may be less than the price shown as they have lots of deals coming up this weekend and next week. I think some of the HEATTECH collection and the seamless down jackets that I swear by are both in the sale until December 1st.
