I know I said I wasn’t going to do a Christmas gift guide this year, but the good people at Amazon Fashion asked me to do a cheeky one for them, so here we are. I mean who doesn’t panic ‘Prime’ some last minute gifts? I do sometimes wonder what I would do without it. This year they’ve also got the added Bonus of free Premier League games with Amazon Prime, so that’s keeping the boys happy this Christmas, seeing as I’m too cheap to pay for Sky Sports.
Again, the choice on the site is VAST, but I’ve narrowed it down into 4 categories of things I think my family and friends might like. Teenage boys included. They are without doubt the most difficult people to buy for.
This post has been done in partnership with Amazon Fashion, but they don’t tell me what to write about or give me any limitations on what I pick. Contains Amazon affiliate links.
CHECKS FOR THE MEN
Checks are all I see the blokes at work wearing these days. The other week, 4 of them turned up to a meeting wearing checked shirts. It’s like an epidemic. But I’m not one to shun a trend, so I’ll be looking at this kind of thing for my husband. I have actually bought him two of the things in this selection, but in case he’s reading this (he never reads this) I will let you guess which ones.
1. Merc Mens Tobias Parka Coat
2. Leisurely Pace Buffalo Check Shirt
3. Dickies Portland Padded Fleece Overshirt
4. Ted and Jack Cashmere Feel Scarf
5. Dr Martens Classic Unisex Boots
BOOTS FOR THE LADIES
This year has to be the year of the chunky boot. It’s the item of clothing I get asked about more than any other. So, if you’re looking to give the gift of the moment, it has to be a pair of these. They don’t have to be black either. How good are these pink ones? I might have to get those as a gift for myself!
1. Tommy Hilfiger Cosy Outdoor Ankle Boots
2. Steve Madden Bam Booties
3. Sorrel Ainsley Conquest Boots
4. Pikolinos Bruselas Ankle Boots
5. Trussardi Jeans Combat Style Boots
6. Art Toronto Unisex Ankle Boots
BRANDS FOR THE BOYS
It’s all about the brands for teenage boys. Gone are the days when I could pop into H&M and get a job lot of cheap T Shirts and Jumpers. Now it has to have a logo or a label and woe betide me if I get it wrong. Judging my what my boys wear, these brands pass the cool test, Dickies, Fred Perry, Napapijri, North Face, Vans and New Era have all been met with a seal of approval.
1. Dickies Mens Colefax Beanie Hat
2. New Era Yankees Baseball Cap
3. Fred Perry Mens Twin Tipped Polo Shirt
4. Napapijri Mens Rainforest Jacket
5. Vans Classic Checkerboard Slip On Trainers
6. The North Face Trevail Jacket
ACCESSORIES FOR THE GIRLS
I don’t have any teenage girls to buy for, just toddlers. But if I did, I’d go for accessories. You can never be sure of taste or sizing with clothes for teenage girls, but watches, gloves, bags and hats are pretty universal!
1. Pieces Faux Leather Cross Body Bag
2. Armani Exchange Mother Of Pearl Watch
3. Scotch and Soda Leather Leopard Print Gloves
4. Tommy Hilfiger Cable Knit Scarf
5. s.Oliver Red Cable Beanie Hat
6.Ugg Leopard Print Fluff Slippers
I hope you’ve managed to make a dent in the Christmas shopping. Let’s be honest, you’ve not gone long left now. I have almost done. It’s just the dreaded stocking fillers to do. My kids know full well Father Christmas is a myth, but still insist on stockings, but to be fair i made my mum do the same, right up until I left home.

P.S. Don’t forget to try the Amazon Style Snap. It helps you navigate their vast shop better. All you have to do is click the camera icon in the upper right hand corner of the Amazon app (app only not on the regular site) and select the ‘Style Snap’ option. Then upload a photograph or screenshot of a look that you like. Style Snap will then give you recommendations for similar items on Amazon that match the look in the photo. It really works,
