When I’m looking at Warehouse it’s usually the dresses that grab me first. They do so well with bold prints, this border print chiffon number being a case in point. Also look out for interesting (and flattering) shapes in their occasion wear, this velvet embroidered dress would be perfect for winter parties. But this time it was a SKIRT that I ordered! If you’ve been a blog reader for a while you will know that I don’t usually favour a skirt. I’m not even sure why, I just rarely find any that I really like.
But I fell for this leather midi skirt. It’s the perfect thing for that Autumnal inbetween weather. I plan on wearing like this with a breton and trainers right now, but will add a chunky knit and some socks and loafers (yes, socks and loafers) over the coming weeks. Then I’ll throw on a long coat, some 90 deniers and Chelsea boots when it becomes too cold for a bare leg. I sized up one size, as I tend to do with most of the ‘bottoms’ at Warehouse, and it fits like a dream. Although that could say more about my meno-belly than it does about their sizing, as the tops fit fine in my usual size.
Talking of tops, I also picked out this great floral print yoke blouse that I plan on wearing with jeans and boots. Warehouse do some lovely blouses. Here are all my other top picks from the new season at Warehouse. Don’t forget the code WMM15 for the extra 15% off and free delivery until Oct 16th.
