Uniqlo February Edit

Welcome to my Uniqlo February edit. There’s a new season emerging, so think less chunky knitwear and more easy T‑shirts, lightweight jackets, jeans and great activewear, because you know, I work out now…

I’m going to start with activewear as I need you to know that Uniqlo do THE most comfortable gym gear that you can also wear all day. I urge you to try their active wireless bra top. If you’re anything like me, you will have cursed many of your sports bras as you dislocate a shoulder trying to get the bloody things off. I swear not long ago I almost got out the scissors to cut off one of mine, such was my frustration.

This does NOT happen with the Uniqlo one I have. I’m afraid I can’t tell you how good it is for support if you are running as I don’t do running, but for my regular strength-training sessions it’s just perfect. It’s also padded so no nipple-show embarrassment either. I am wearing a medium in the top and the leggings here.

I also have to give a special mention to the Uniqlo denim. As with most things from this brand, the quality of their jeans is so, so good for the price. My current favourites are the baggy jeans. I’d say take your regular size (it’s done by waist size) for a relaxed fit. If you want the waist a bit closer-fitted, go down a size. I am wearing a 29/31 leg and I’m a UK 12. The sweatshirt is a large.

Here are all of my top picks from Uniqlo for this month:
