I’ve had a lot of requests to do a bag blog. So here is my big spring bag edit. The choice out there is quite overwhelming and it really depends what you are looking for. This won’t please everyone and I could go on for pages and pages, but I’ve focused on a few styles, the ones you’ve asked me about more than others. I’ve tried to give a spread of prices too, but I would say, out of all the items in your wardrobe, if you’re looking for a ‘forever’ bag, it’s worth spending a little bit more if you can. That said, the high street has some great designer ‘homages’.
SMALL BRAND BAGS
Let’s start off by giving some love to the little guys. I have almost all these bags (I know, what can I say, I like to have options with my accessories), they are all great. I use the M.hulot bum bag for the football, or on any occasion I need to be hands free. The Maison M quilted clutch is great for casual night out, and the Hopeful London leather Soho tote is the perfect travel bag when you need ALL your essentials with you.

CLASSIC BOX BAG
Always stylish, never goes out of style. The ultimate is the Celine box bag, but at upwards of £3k that is beyond the means of most. Luckily there are lots of similar ones out there suitable for differing budgets.
BAGS BIG ENOUGH TO FIT A LAPTOP
Now, without getting a tape measure out and checking ALL the possible laptop sizes, I cannot guarantee all of these will fit your laptop, but they LOOK like they can, so that will have to suffice.
COLOURFUL BAGS
The easiest way to add a pop of colour to your outfit is by a bright bag. So if you’re afraid of the full colour block look, try one of these instead. Matching shoes, optional.
STRAW BAGS
We all love a good straw bag for the summer, be it a beach basket, or a lighter alternative to leather when the weather gets warmer.
DESIGNER BAGS
Finally, if you are looking for a real investment bag, here are a few high end designer styles that I think will be timeless.
