This selection was requested by a lovely reader who had never bought anything or even really heard of Stradivarius before and asked my opinion. I have bought a few things from there in the recent past and been very pleasantly surprised. The only thing currently still for sale that I have is this great jacket that I featured in the capsule wardrobe post.
I would call Stradivarius Zara’s little, slightly cheaper, sister. It’s akin to H&M price-wise. To be honest it’s probably aimed as people much younger than me, but age is just a number and even though you’re over 40, you don’t have to start wearing those shoes and elasticated trousers you see in the back of certain Sunday supplements.
