I had a conversation the other day with a friend of mine that was basically ‘if you had to buy from one high street shop for the next 5 years, which one would it be?’. Department stores were not allowed, neither were online platforms so my answer would almost certainly be COS. I was tempted with Zara and we know M&S is having a moment, but COS is just slightly more reliable. They do some of the best quality t shirts and knitwear on the high street and their denim and trouser selection is always excellent. If it’s quality and classic style that you are after, then COS is the place to go.
My favourite COS jeans are the Arch Tapered, I have them in cream and dark blue. The best T shirts are this clean cut style — they come in lots of colours and they are just perfect. They also wash really well. For trousers, my favourites are these wide legs. They have the elastic tabs inside them which helps if you are prone to having a fluctuating waist size throughout the year (or is that just me?)
