Continuing our look around the best the high street has to offer, this week we are diving into Marks and Spencer. Now, I don’t know if it’s my age, or if M&S have got a new design team (I’m going with the latter), but over the past few years they have most definitely moved away from waterfall cardigans and badly fitting drawstring linen trousers and into the modern age. Although, I bet if you look hard enough there are still some of those for sale or else they will have a certain subset of society writing strongly worded letters to the manager.
My favourite items from the current season are this jacket, these loafers, this suede bag and this dress which is very much a ‘homage’ (read almost exact copy but in a different colour) of a Dôen dress I bought last summer for about 6 times the price.
