What I’m Loving From Rixo’s New Season

I love my basics (see my previous Uniqlo post), but to add to those, you need a little bit of frivolity. One of the first places I look for all of those is Rixo.

Rixo is a brand I have always had a soft spot for. If you don’t know them already, they make a great mix of vintage-inspired dresses along with more modern, wearable separates. Think beautiful prints, flattering shapes and pieces that feel special without being too ‘done’. There is a definite sense of nostalgia to Rixo, but the clothes still feel very current and, most importantly, are things you will actually want to wear on a daily basis, rather than just saving for best.

I also love that it is still wholly owned and run by its female founders, Orla and Henrietta, who began designing dresses back in 2015 when they were still at university.

Rixo is typically known for its dresses, which are always amazing, but my top three picks from the new season are actually separates: this cute suede jacket (be still my beating heart), this gorgeous satin top (perfect for those ‘just jeans and a nice top’ evenings) and these boots (which I already own in the brown suede, so I can attest that they are very comfortable).

Here are more of my Rixo picks.
