Introducing Esska

This post is sponsored by Esska. Now, quite a few of you will already be aware of this brand, as I have featured them a fair bit over the years and I own three pairs of their shoes. Well, two pairs of shoes and one pair of boots. Firstly, I need to tell you that Esska have supplied me with a 15% discount code which is valid from now until 30 October. Use code KATE15 at the checkout.

Esska launched in 2006 in West London after Souraya, their founder, became increasingly frustrated with the shoes that were on offer in the shops at the time. They were either comfy and a bit ugly, or else they looked great but hurt like hell to wear. The dream was to make stylish shoes that were also comfortable. She definitely succeeded in doing this.

Esska work with skilled artisans in Portugal who bring the designs to life using premium leathers and vegan materials, ensuring a perfect fit that has long-lasting durability. They believe that when you invest in a pair of Esska shoes, you’re investing in footwear that will stand the test of time and look great whenever you wear them.

Let’s have a look at four of my favourite styles.

THE VALERIE PLATFORM SANDALS

The Valerie shoes are probably the ultimate signature style from Esska, and one of their all-time bestsellers. They now come in a multitude of colours and fabrics. Of special note and new for this season is this navy vegan velvet version. These heeled sandals bring a touch of the 70s with a platform and a block heel.  They’re perfect for any party, and as someone who hates the discomfort of high heels, I can attest that it’s possible to wear these shoes all night and not have hurty feet.

THE MONA BOOTS

The Mona boots are ideal for everyday wear and transitional seasons. They feature a walkable-height low block heel and round toe, and are so comfortable that you could easily wear them all day. And oh! This new red suede colourway is quite something. Dress down with denim and navy to give them the maximum impact they deserve.

THE MAYA 2 STRAP SHOES

The Maya twin-strap Mary Jane shoes in metallic onyx are made from premium leather and feature a sturdy rubber sole, an 80mm block heel and a secure buckle fastening, so you can be safe in the knowledge that you can dance all night without losing your footing (alcohol consumption not withstanding).

THE ANYA FLATS

I had to add a pair of flat shoes in here because I do love a good pair of fancy flats. The Anya green velvet shoes add a touch of luxury to your everyday outfits but are special enough for evenings out too.
