Day 8 (I think) and we picked the wrong one to visit the beach. We didn’t know that Santa Monica is often subject to low level clouds that last all day, even if the rest of the city is hot and sunny. A bit like a grey day in Bognor but with cooler shops and houses obvs (no offence to Bognor residents). Also a mistake to wear shorts yet a good excuse to buy new jeans. So… every cloud.

LA Days 6 & 7: We are rapidly ticking off every GTA landmark. If you have teenage boys you will know. Also went on a walking tour of Downtown LA (yes, walking) that was so worth it. Great guide who took us to lots of really interesting, non video game related, places. We also walked to dinner because, as the only driver, sometimes I want a drink.
