I’ve had a few requests for a summer dresses post. Some of you will be heading away over half term, while others will be looking at next week’s UK forecast and thinking: “I need to shave, I need to fake tan, I need to think about summer dresses.”
As I write this, I still haven’t taken my summer girls out of their winter ziplock home. I have a slight fear that as soon as I do, it will rain solidly for a month.
But I am doing it this week because I don’t want to panic-buy a new dress when I’m pretty sure I still have plenty that I love from years gone by. That said, it doesn’t hurt to look, does it?
I’m especially taken with this one from Farm Rio and this one from Top Shop at John Lewis. I’ve just booked a family holiday to Tuscany for the summer, and I can picture both of these dresses on the streets of Florence or Siena, paired with tan sandals and a basket bag.
