This post is sponsored by Uniqlo and, as you probably know by now, it’s my go-to place on the high street for capsule basics. They do the best white T‑shirts and at under £15 they are an absolute bargain. For winter, I like to go for this one as it’s perfect for layering under jumpers when it’s not cold enough for the cashmere Heattech, but still not warm enough to opt for the short-sleeve version.
My current favourite item is their baggy curve jeans. I already had them in the lighter wash, but I had to get the indigo version too as I just love the shape. They’re kind of a semi-barrel style in that they’re lightly tapered at the bottom, with a very flattering fit. I wear a size 28 with a 31 leg and they are spot on. I style them with slim trainers or loafers.
Also (and I know we are definitely not in vest-top season yet) I need to mention that Uniqlo have listened to our grumbles and brought out their cropped built-in-bra tops in a longer length, for those who don’t wish to wear anything that might show some flesh around the stomach area.
Here are more of my February Uniqlo picks for you.
