I treated my @grensonshoes to some new @shoestring_laces . An idea inspired by / totally ripped off from @enbrogue . If, like me, you only wear flat shoes these days then you need to follow Hannah as she has the BEST collection . . P.S. These boots did come back in stock on Weds but sold out within an hour. They are getting more in the new year. If I hear details I will let you know x

I was talking to someone the other night about my job and it dawned on me that I have never not worked. I got a paper-round at 13 because there was a white oversized duster coat in Miss Selfridge that I REALLY wanted and I needed the money to buy it. Since then I have worked in various shops, in a place that sold swimming pools (failed to sell Bonnie Langford one despite getting in to demonstrate the wave machine function), have been a waitress in many many restaurants, sold beer and ice cream at the Hammersmith Odeon, did 4 years at a heavy metal record company (still have the tattoos to prove it) and have been in my current job for nearly 20 years. My love of Palm Trees is well known. It wasn’t the only reason I visited LA twice this year, but it’s a definite added bonus. Because we don’t get them so much in Hanwell, my lovely friend @britgirl61 sent me some ‘grow-your-own-palm-trees’ direct from sunny California.
