Today I’m pretty much wearing what I would have worn back in 1989 when I was a Suburban Goth. DM boots and a black floral maxi dress. By the end of that year I had discovered the Wag Club and was sporting colourful dungarees, a patchwork baseball cap and mauve Kickers. That’s not a look I’ll be recreating anytime soon . . . Sad to hear that Mark Hollis, the singer from Talk Talk has died. They were a seminal band for me growing up. I based an entire GCSE art project on this album cover. Their music is still as good today as it ever was
