I know, I know, it’s still May and the chances of wearing sandals at the moment are slim at best, but it’s always good to be prepared. Get that pedicure booked, apply the fake tan (ankles only is fine for now) and have a look at your sandals inventory. Are they still up to scratch? Do you need to add to your collection? Are there some that you need to sell because they cut your feet to ribbons?
A few quick recommendations from me; for an inexpensive everyday holiday sandal, you can do a LOT worse than these leather ones from Amazon. I would go up 1/2 size. For pure unadulterated comfort, then these from Air & Grace were practically glued to my feet last summer and this year I have bought them in another colour, they are true to size for me. For walking long distances and even up and down mountains (within reason) then these from Teva served me very well in Morocco a few months back, take your regular size. I also love these Tevas, the elastic looks like it should be painful but it isn’t. I went up a size in those ones.
