It’s at this time of year when we might have returned from holidays (or just resigned ourselves to the fact that the UK summer is probably not really going to happen now), that thoughts turn to what we might be wearing this Autumn. For me, Autumn is the most exciting season when it comes to fashion. Maybe because it reminds me of shopping for new school shoes and bags. The only way you were able to show off your fashion credentials in a uniform. How we begged our mums to give Clarks a miss for once and take us to Dolcis for something buckled and patent instead.
For shoes today, I’m very keen on these little Mary Janes. I would wear them with boyfriend jeans and a classic leather jacket to take the edge off the girly-ness. I have already ordered these navy trousers as I have them in black from last year and they were my most worn pair. They are just the perfect tailored wide leg AND they have those elasticated tabs in the waistband so you can adjust to fit perfectly.
Apologies for the short post, I haven’t had time this week to do my full outfit planning blog, but in the meantime I have seen a LOT of lovely items that have already gone straight onto my wish list. I will work on how we can style some of these items for next weekend.
