The transition of our house into a pub is coming along nicely. We have a fully stocked bar, regulars (me), a dartboard, beer garden and an old man who falls asleep in the corner every Sunday (husband). The most half-arsed ever. Today I felt like there’s no end to this shit. I don’t want to live in a virtual world, I don’t want to do another bloody quiz, I don’t want to just go for walk near my house, I don’t want to watch the news. I don’t even want my old life back. I just want a different life to this. I know I’ll feel better tomorrow. I know I’m massively fortunate in every way. I know these feelings come and go. But it’s OK to feel shit and wallow in self pity sometimes. Isn’t it? This isn’t a ‘U OK Hun?’ post. I just want you to know we all feel this way sometimes. Rant over

My children think they are too old to make rainbow posters for our windows, so I bought a great banner from @ingoodcompanyleeds to show our support for all the essential workers. There are lots of great artist designs but I liked this one by @rebecca_strickson_illustration the most. All profits are split between charities of the artists choice.
