I remembered just now (thanks to @phoebesinclair for the memory jog) it was 20 years ago this very weekend that I met my husband for the 2nd time. At Reading Festival in 1997 while waiting for Metallica to come onstage. I also just found this photo of him from around that same time. This was pre-Crocs. He still wears that shirt and those glasses, but thankfully the hair is long gone
