Mother’s Day. Am I allowed to say that I like this more than Valentine’s Day? I enjoy breakfast in bed and a lunch out somewhere with the family. Up until last year I still insisted that my (now grown-up) children make me a card instead of buying one.
To be honest, I don’t often get gifts, but any excuse to do a bit of self-gifting — which of course you can do even if you are not a mother.
I have pulled together a list of items that could be suitable for mothers of any age. I highly recommend this little leather purse; it’s so useful. I put all my essentials (lipstick, keys, AirPods, card) in it, then I can transfer it easily between the bags I use. I’ve ordered four more to give as gifts to my friends and family.
