There’s nothing groundbreaking here, but I thought it was worth pulling together all my Amazon recommendations that are currently in the Prime Day sale. Last time around I bought this — I swore up and down that I didn’t need or want one, but my friends persuaded me, and I have to say it’s excellent. I use it at least three times a week now.
My favourite thing to make in it is potatoes. They come out perfectly: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, without waiting 20 minutes for the oven to heat up. At the weekend I even did cheese on toast—three minutes and done, with none of the worry that I’m going to burn the house down using the grill (which always seems to scorch everything). It’s the small pleasures!
