We’ve long established that COS is my favourite high street shop. Quality and timeless style at its best. It’s not particularly groundbreaking, but if it’s chic, minimalist basics you’re after, then it’s the place to go. I was given the impetus to collate 40 of my favourites because the great cardigan-jacket I bought early last month (and have already worn a LOT) is now finally online — it’s this one, and it’s very useful indeed. I’ve also been very much enjoying the Twine barrel jeans — even my 18 year old said they were cool. High praise indeed.
A quick note on sizing: I’d say COS is generally true to size. I wear a 38, which is a UK 10, so you can work up or down from there. If it’s more general sizing, I usually go for a medium.
Oh, and their cashmere is the best on the high street.
