Free People: Winter edit

This post is sponsored by Free People. On this occasion I’ve picked out some party-ready items, some winter warmers and a smattering of great dresses and footwear. There is a LOT to choose from on their vast site, so a condensed edit is called for.

You’ll always find me in the kitchen at parties. I love this lace dress – I’m wearing one of my own slips underneath it because I’ve not got the body (or the blind confidence) to go out in a lace dress with just my undies on. It’s not tight either so it flows nicely over the stomach area with zero cling. I added the Mystic Mary Jane flats, which I think would look just as good with an old pair of jeans and a T‑shirt.

Another of my top picks from Free People this month is the fleecy Junie jacket. It’s the cosiest thing ever. Like a nice warm hug of a coat.

If maxi dresses are more your thing then the Feeling Groovy dress could be right up your strasse. This one comes with its own slip attached and is nicely oversized and loose. You could belt it at the waist for a fitted look. I like to go more flowing, especially at this time of year with the potential option of a good cheese board after my Sunday lunch.

Here are more of my picks from Free People this month…
