Everyday Elemis (and more)

This Post is sponsored by Elemis, a really great skincare brand that I’ve been using for a while now, but I am also going to include some of my other favourites because, let’s be honest, no-one is completely loyal to just one brand. Although back in the day I was purely a Clearasil girl. The whole bathroom in my parents house just had a tang of antiseptic for years. What with that and the white spirit we were told to put on our ear piercings to help them heal. At one point I had 4 holes in one ear and 5 in another (only 2 of them done professionally I might add).

Excuse my make-up free face, and I really did try and clean that mirror, honest…

You won’t get that Clearasil sting with Elemis, Polar opposite in fact. One of my favourite products is their Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm. Having always had quite oily skin, I used to steer clear of balms as I thought they would make the oil situation worse, but turns out that’s a myth and the best thing for oily skin is to add moisture, not try and take it away. You’ll never get that ‘tight’ feeling you get with some Gel cleansers. I’ve been using the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm since October and it’s genuinely one of the best I’ve ever tried. If you decide you fancy trying, use the code KATEH25 for 25% off all full size products at Elemis.com.

While we are on Elemis, the other 3 products I swear by from them are the Pro Collagen Marine day Cream, the Pro Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream and White Flowers Eye make-up remover. I have stupidly sensitive eyes with Eczema flare-ups and this is the one of the only make-up removers that doesn’t irritate. Although to be fair, I don’t use it som much these days because, A. I don’t wear much eye make-up and, B. The Pro Collagen Cleansing balm takes care of eye make-up just as well.

While I’ve got you, here’s some more beauty and make-up products that I use and love. All of these work fine on my sensitive skin, but obviously everyone is different and I’m the first to admit I’m no an expert, but these are things I would recommend…
