I mean, there couldn’t be a better place to wear it, but I think it will be equally at home in the city this summer worn with trainers or sandals and a denim jacket for the chilly evenings. I own a few of these other than the Dahlia dress. I have two ‘Love of My Life’ dresses, one in black and one in the rust colour from years gone by, and they come out every single summer. A very flattering dress and made from a lovely, light and airy, gauzy cotton. (Note on these: I did have to put a small stitch in the front as otherwise it was a bit too low-cut for me, or you could wear a pretty vest underneath.)
